Satellite TV Kits

With the Tech Mobile Communications easy-to-install satellite TV kits you can now receive simultaneous satellite TV service while connected to the Internet with either your TMCW Anywhere Internet! portable tripod or automatic Datastorm system.

We offer four different satellite TV kits plus add-on options for receiving any North American satellite TV service.

Starchoice Quad Kit : Part Number AI-TVSC

NewProduct! The Starchoice TV Quad Kit, exclusive to TMCW, receives Star Choice programming from both Star Choice satellites. You are now able to receive your full programming line-up including High Definition and French language channels. The QUAD output can support connection to up to four receivers.

With the Anywhere Internet! dish and Star Choice QUAD kit you can receive satellite TV service throughout Canada, the USA and into Mexico. Star Choice is an “RVer friendly” service provider that offers excellent support no matter where you are traveling. If you do not currently have a satellite TV provider, we recommend Star Choice and can provide you with a Star Choice receiver and account.

Bell ExpressVu Kit: Part Number AI-TVBE

The Bell ExpressVu Kit allows you to receive programming from the Bell ExpressVu Nimiq I satellite (91) on your Anywhere Internet dish or Datastorm system. This kit currently works when your Internet system is locked to the Hughesnet Galaxy 16 Internet satellite. If you would like to also receive Bell Expressvu HDTV and French language programming off of Nimiq II (82), an additional Universal Kit will be required.

Universal DBS Kit: Part Number AI-TVUNI

For USA programming, Free-To-Air or Bell ExpressVu Nimiq II (82) services the Universal Kit allows for reception of a single DBS satellite. For additional satellites, an LNBF yoke kit is available (see below). For example, if you would like to receive both the DISH Network 110 and 119 satellites you would need to purchase a Universal Kit and an LNBF yoke.

LNBF Yoke Kit: Part Number AI-TVYK

This kit allows you to add a second or 3rd satellite to your Universal kit to provide multiple satellite TV reception on your Anywhere Internet! or Datastorm system. The yoke connects easily to the Universal Kit and is tuned to the desired satellite through a one-time adjustment of two set screws.

The Holux USB GPS Receiver - Model GR-213

A GPS receiver helps to find your geographical location and to give you your exact latitude and longitude.

This Holux USB GPS reciever is a highly sensitive GPS Receiver for use with your PDA or Notebook. Works with third party software products such as Microsoft Streets and Trips to provide accurate LAT and LONG co-ordinates for use with your Anywhere Internet! tripod system. The Holux GR-213 is a mouse USB GPS receiver built with SiRF Star III architecture that tracks up to 20 satellites at a time, re-acquires satellite signals in 100 ms and updates position data every second. Trickle-Power allows the unit to operate in a fraction of the time and Push-to-Fix permits user to have a quick position fix even after the receiver has been off.
